'President Obama, Are You Listening?'
Wow. That's all I really have to say after listening to CNBC's Rick Santelli go off on Obama's mortgage plan.
"The government is promoting bad behavior," says Santelli, standing on the floor of the CME Group in Chicago. "This is America! How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor's mortgage?"
"President Obama, are you listening?" Santelli asks.
Santelli's spirited sermon was met with the enthusiastic cheers of nearby traders. Others joined in, mocking Obama's mortgage plan, saying they should stop paying their mortgages because 'it's a moral hazard.'
Watch the video here.
Santelli is not just speaking for himself and a few Chicago traders. His fervid homily spoke for millions of Americans across the country who feel hamstrung by Congress and the new Obama administration. Millions of Americans who recognize the dangerous course the administration is pursuing in response to the current recession, and the future impact it will have on the country.
Santelli speaks for all of us who fear where this ever-expanding government is leading the nation, and it is about time that the grassroots movement in America forces Obama to listen…before it is too late.
I encourage everyone to share this video, and stay active on this site. We can do with our activism on this site what Santelli did with his interview: Say it loud. We must take the energy and passion of Santelli's comments and apply it the grassroots level.

Santelli
Great video! Santelli hits the nail on the head, and I think captures the way Americans really feel right now.
