Democrats: Pay As I Say, Not As I Do…Or Don't
Being a Democrat and being a hypocrite go hand-in-hand. They'll fight you tooth and nail for tax money to throw at public schools, block voucher programs, and fight parents on school choice. Then, they'll send their kids to the most expensive private school in the area—such as Obama. Or, they'll work for more expensive, "green" regulations for cars while jet setting across the U.S. on private planes.
But there are fewer things more repulsive than a Democrat's willingness to increase taxes, and their refusal to pay those taxes.
The Obama administration has fallen face-first into this type of hypocrisy. Three of his nominees had histories of tax evasion. Two of them—Sec. of Health and Human Services nominee Tom Daschle, and chief performance officer nominee Nancy Killefer—have withdrawn because of these revelations.
Why is it that Democrats will raise taxes, but say: "Pay as I say, not as I do…or don't"?
The last eight years of the Bush administration proved that some people were above the law, and others weren't. Obama said he was going to change that.
I guess this is just another example of how Obama has shortchanged Americans
